Have you ever wondered how Germany became a global leader in STEM fields? Do you want to be a part of the next generation of STEM leaders and innovators by experiencing Germany's STEM scene? If you’re interested in STEM, then you’ll love our experiences in the Germany Tour.
From 25th June to 2nd July, 2023, Mr. Howard Ho, Mr. Alex Chan and Ms. Pinky Kwok accompanied twenty-eight students on an educational trip to Germany. The Germany STEM tour is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the changing challenges in our society, while fostering a love for science and technology. The tour encourages students to become lifelong learners and further develops their abilities to integrate and apply their knowledge, as well as nurture creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
During the Germany STEM tour, students visited several places which provided them with unique learning opportunities. For example, at Heilbronn University, students learned about cutting-edge research and technology in various fields, whereas in the Mercedes Benz Smart Factory and Audi Factory, students witnessed the production of advanced automobiles and learned about the integration of technology in the manufacturing process. The EnBW Sustainability Factory provided students with insights into sustainable energy production and conservation and in the Technoseum, students learned about the history of technology and its impact on society.
The exchange with the students in a local German secondary school was a valuable opportunity for the visiting students on the STEM tour to gain an insight into the German education system and to interact with local students. Overall, the tour provided students with a well-rounded and immersive STEM learning experience.
