International Culture Appreciation Club (ICAC)

Aim:

  1. Students learn different cultures and experience something new.
  2. Allows students from different backgrounds to share their cultural characteristics with other students. 
  3. Students build a greater appreciation for different cultures and will expand their linguistic and cultural horizons.

Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls

December 2023 
Teachers and students in the ICAC were making Vietnamese rice paper rolls together to taste different culture.

Henna Workshop

We have a Henna Workshop organized by our school International Culture Appreciation club. We invited a NCS tutor to introduce Henna and related culture, and teach students how to draw Henna on our hands and decorate our boxes. Wonderful Henna drawing!

2021-22 NCS COOKING CLASS

The NCS Committee organized a cooking class for all NCS students on 30 October 2021. Students are able to learn food culture from different countries, for example Sri Lankan Fish Cutlets (Indian) and Korean Tteogbokki (Korean). They enjoyed the cooking activity and cooked delicious food by themselves.
