S1 Gospel Camp – The King of the World

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise! The Gospel Camp, themed ‘The King of the World’ and held in Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, was filled with passion and inspiration. The theme song ‘Declaration’ reminded S1 students to share the culture of love on campus. They were divided into teams to follow clues and complete a series of checkpoint challenges, based on the bible stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph in the Book of Genesis. In a team competition setting, the 3-day camp provided a fun and exciting platform for the participants to learn the truth beyond classrooms and build up relationships, both with God and people. During worship and testimony sharing, students were encouraged to commit their lives to follow Jesus and take a leap of faith in Him. Special thanks go to teachers, alumni, parent volunteers and ECF churches, including pastors, deacons and helpers, for they all served whole-heartedly to make the camp a great success, bringing a memorable and life-changing experience to our students. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. (Psalms 47:7)
