Have you ever witnessed the formation of the hexagonal rock column? Have you ever wandered through the 170-year-old Tai Kwun? Have you ever learnt about Hong Kong's electoral system? From June 26th to 28th, 2023, Miss Ng, Mr. Lam and Miss Au organized the Journey of Values, hoping to cultivate positive values among students through diverse activities in learning areas such as Hong Kong's history, culture, natural ecology, and humanistic community. On the first day, we visited High Island Reservoir East Dam in Sai Kung East Country Park. While enjoying the magnificent scenery of sea caves and volcanic rock columns. Students marveled at the wonders of the nature. On the second day, students toured places such as Tai Kwun and PMQ. They immersed in the atmosphere of historical culture. On the third day, students visited the Election Information Centre in Kowloon Bay, experiencing the election process firsthand. Students can understand their civic role and responsibility in the community through diverse learning activities such as sustainable development education, Hong Kong's historical and cultural education, and community humanistic education.
