Introduction
Applied Learning (ApL) is an integral part of the senior secondary curriculum. Subjects in this category consist of practical elements linked to broad professional and vocational fields. ApL courses are developed and delivered by the respective course providers and are approved by the Education Bureau.
STCC provides ApL courses to NSS students in Mode 2. We offer two courses namely Western Cuisines and Aviation Studies. With the provision of these two courses, students can understand fundamental theories and concerts, develop their beginners’ skill set, career-related competencies and generic skills. It also helps students explore their career aspirations and orientation for lifelong learning.
