Traditional Intangible Cultural Heritage - Lacquer Fan Making

The main purpose of this workshop is to allow the students to better understand the value of lacquerware as an intangible cultural heritage, and also recognize the significance of cultural security through participating in the workshop. There is a total of 14 junior and senior students joining the Lacquer Fan Making Workshop. They showed a deeper understanding of the art development of China, and also exhibited enjoyment during the process of making their own lacquer fan. The activity can facilitate the students to strengthen their sense of protecting the traditional Chinese culture, thus helping students learn to appreciate and inherit Chinese heritage.
