ENG - International Culture Week ~ New Zealand, Day 1: Rugby
Rugby is a sport quite foreign to Hong Kong people. However, New Zealanders came to know this sport as early as 1870 and it is now considered as one of the national sports there.
We are privileged to have our guest Mr. Charles Cheung, a very experienced professional rugby player from the team Hong Kong Scottish, visit our school and introduced this sport to our students. He taught us the basic drills such as footwork, tackling and passing.
The turnout was phenomenal. All the students and teachers enjoyed the game very much.
Indeed, we had a lot of fun together while we were learning about a new sport. Once again, we thank Mr. Charles Cheung for making this event a great success.
