Activities Highlight
Students worked on fieldworks related to farming activities and river studies in Hong Kong. The field works were in line with the curriculum of HKDSE Geography. Students had the chance to experience sample collection, using different equipment to do measurement and data analysis in a fieldwork study.
Geography students attended a seminar related to the geology and mining activities in Hong Kong. Students learnt more about different types of landforms, rocks and minerals in Hong Kong.
Our S5 Geography students took part in a field study in Sheung Wan, to investigate the land uses in the area. They also investigated the gentrification process in this old urban area. The field study helped students consolidate their Geography knowledge, skills and values.
Students worked on field works related to sustainable development, which was in line with the curriculum of HKDSE Geography. They also investigated the sustainability of urban planning and development in Cheung Chau through a series of sustainability indicators under environmental, economic and social aspects.
